Our Camp Overview

Alianza Sports Soccer Camp

This unique soccer camp experience brings South American Coaches to New Mexico. The combined experience of these player/coaches at National and International World Cups, brings elite soccer education to our youth and elite players here in New Mexico. Scholarships are available so please contact us to register.

The focus is on how to develop the highest caliber soccer player. Coaching focus is placed on technical development of movement preparation, biomechanics, technique of touch, and tactical foundations for each position on the field.

Your player will develop dramatically, and leave with a more profound understanding of the game of soccer by being coached and mentored by players who've been at all levels of elite soccer.

The camp have broken down all age groups into 2 sessions:
Morning 8:30am - 12:30pm & Afternoon 3:30pm - 7:30pm sessions.
Then Choose Your Age Category.
All 4 coaches are available during the entire camps - all sessions.

CARLOS VALDES DEFENDER

Valdes began his career with Real Cartagena and appeared in 33 league matches. After his success with Cartagena, Valdes joined Colombian club America de Cali defending for the club for 4 years, during which he went on to appear in 97 matches. He then joined Independiente Santa Fe and continued to be one of the top defenders in Colombia.

Valdes played for the Colombian U-20 team, with which he won the South American U-20 Championship. He then competed at the 2005 FIFA Youth World Cup in the Netherlands. Several years later he officially joined Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union.

Valdes has played internationally with the Colombian soccer team since 2008 participating in the 2014 and 2018 World Cup and in 2015 Copa America.

VICTOR DANILO PACHECO

Colombian midfielder, he played 661 games and scored 116 goals abroad. In the national team, he scored 2 goals and competed in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

He began his career as a player at Atlético Junior, a club with which he won the Colombian Championship twice (1993 and 1995), participating in the 1994 and 1996 editions of the Copa Libertadores. Pacheco also played for Mexico at Atlante where he played 94 games scoring 4 goals.

He was a part of Colombian team participating in 1992 summer Olympics, World Cup elimination games in 1998 and 2006, as well as Copa America in 1993 and 1997.

He holds a FIFA technical director license.

Jorge Bolanos

Professionally, he began his career in the Junior team of Barranquilla in which he played from 1993 to 1998, after which he was transferred to the Italian soccer League. His first team in Italy was Parma, then he played for Lecce, Samdoria and Modena.

He played internationally with the Colombian soccer team, participating in a total of 36 international matches. He was also a part of the squads that played in the 1998 World Cup, the 1999 Copa América and the 2000 Gold Cup, where his team finished as a runner-up.

He holds a FIFA technical director license, and is actively coaching youth.

Julián Ramiro Viáfara

Son of a former soccer player and coach of a Colombian U-17 team, Julián grew up playing soccer. He started in Boca Juniors de Cali, where he began as forward and later played as a defender. He premiered for Independiente Medellín by taking a penalty in the match and played for the club from 1997 to 2001, eventually signing with América de Cali in 2001, where he was a captain for several years.

He played 19 games for Brazilian club Atlético-PR starting in 2007, helping the team get into the Copa Sudamericana.

Viáfara made a memorable debut playing for Brasileirão in 2008, and remained with the brazilian club Vitória to win the 2009 Campeonato Baiano. After which he was named as one of the best goalkeepers of recent times by the local press.

In August 2011 he returned to América de Cali, successfully playing with the Diablos Rojos, and helping them orchestrate several victories.
